I went along and tried Hypoxi Moonee Ponds.
What’s Hypoxi?…before I went I didn’t know what Hypoxi was either! It’s a training concept combining alternating high and low pressure with exercise to help circulation and target fat in the lower body.
When I first went in I noticed the exercise machines. They look quite different to regular gym ones. The one I used was like an exercise bike with my lower body contained in a pod. I was monitored so I was exercising within my fat burning zone. The session went for 30 minutes and was comfortable (although a little funny at first being in the pod!!). I was also given nutrition guidance to follow.
I was happy with the experience and their salon and staff are lovely.
A series of sessions and following the nutritional guidelines is recommended to see results. I think Hypoxi would suit those who are willing to try something different or those who would like to exercise in more private environments. Thanks ladies :-)

Body Boost Bed Review - Essendon
I recently tried the Body Boost Bed at the Light Therapy Clinic in Essendon. I was well looked after by the owner Leanne.
Leanne explained to me the Body Boost Bed uses light therapy to help heal the body. It looks similar to a solarium, but it works in a very different way using LED light technology. Each session in the bed lasts for 25 minutes, it’s very comfortable, warm and with calming music…I fell blissfully asleep in one session!
I was having one of the most tiring months for a long time. I found the Body Boost Bed to be really relaxing. I sleep well afterwards and felt revitalized the following days. I think the bed is a great idea, especially with the cold weather approaching!
